SAP Performance Management: Re-Evaluate or Fall Behind

Major changes in information technology (IT) are transforming the ways in which customers deploy and manage their SAP applications. In particular, SAP customers need to better align IT with the business, which in turn is driving them to define a series of new goals for their SAP environments. In addition, the SAP market is in a state of technological transition from a very constrained, physically tied application infrastructure to a much more fluid form. Forward-thinking organizations, however, can ride the waves of change rather than being overwhelmed by them. This paper describes these changes and examines ways that organizations can re-evaluate and better manage SAP environments.
